The Skyflowers Project Turns 28 Years Old!

I remember starting out in my natural therapies career like it was yesterday. It turns out it was 28 years worth of yesterdays. There are so many milestones, research breakthroughs and humble victories that all shape the practice of plant-based medicine. Too many to go over in a blog post. I’ll leave it for my memoirs.

What I will say at this particular moment in time is that I have a lot of projects in the pipeline still to come. There’s a lot I want to achieve.

The main one, is of course the book, which I hope will stand the test of time and still be used in 100 years. We’ll get to the book in a moment. In the lead uptown the publishing of the book, there are some things I want to release that pave the way for the implementation of Clinical Flower Therapy in natural therapy schools, for example. Which we will also talk about later in this article.

In short, I’m setting my sights on the 30th anniversary of the project and plan to spend the next two years finishing up work on my “core” mission. That of providing a framework for teaching, practicing and governing Clinical Flower Therapy.

Clinical Flower Therapy

Okay, let’s talk about the book. Clinical Flower Therapy: 1st Edition.

Development on the book began back in 2015, ten years ago. The book originally was going to be a simple “how to” guide, then it turned into an educational textbook. From there it has morphed into a thesis. A doctorate-level book. Not because it is a technical book but because I realized the broad range of disciplines it has to cover, in depth.

Botanical science. Plant-based medicine. Vibrational medicine and how it works. Human psychology. Basic anatomy and physiology. The chakra system and information flows in the body. A new model for the human mind that replaces Freuds / Jungs ‘subconscious model’. Professional practice and protocols Therapeutic risks and safety considerations. The list goes on.

Clinical Flower Therapy is a surgeon manual. Literally. For reasons I will explain in the book it can’t be presented any other way that a book for “doctors of plant-medicine”.

The breath of the book is as wide as it is deep. To properly write about Clinical Flower Therapy, a book needs to cover a range of different disciplines. And then those chapters need to cross-reference each other. You can’t write a book on flower therapy without providing in-depth training on each of these spheres. As a result, there are many design challenges and the end result should reflect a carefully sculpted book. As opposed to a word dump.

Clinical Flower Therapy: 1st Edition is a complete rewrite of the practice of flower therapy, from scratch. The goal is to create a system for learning everything about flower therapy, from the ground up. The book introduces a number of completely rewritten subjects – never before seen protocols, safety procedures, a new model of the chakra system ( as an anatomical function ) and even a new model of the human mind.

In compiling a summary for the books content, I realized that there were many things that needed to be pulled apart and written from scratch.

The book is complex. It is a clinical manual. The main narrative of the book revolves are a single, simple principle and everything you learn is based on that principle. The principle that “flower therapy is plant medicine” and therefore, you have to study plants to understand “how to apply flower remedies the way nature intended”. It’s such a simple concept that it boggles my mind that plant studies is commonly overlooked in books, workshops and multi-year training courses.

Clinical Flower Therapy is an attempt to correct that imbalance.

The first draft of chapters one and two have largely been written. Or should I say, carefully constructed. And the framework for the rest of the book has been created. Leaving me to simply flesh it out and slave over the progression the exact wording.

Release date?

I’ve made this mistake before by under-estimating the amount of work that has to be done to synthesize botanical science with vibrational medicine with clinical practice. The book has to be complete, stand the test of time and still be relevant in 100 years time. To that end, it’s more important to do it properly than to rush a book out to sell on Amazon.

I am aiming for a late 2026 release which is doable given the current pace of development and the fact I have been working on it since 2015. And am now in the “home straight” with the finish line in sight. It will defineitly be published by the 30th anniversary of the project, in 2027. The 30th anniversary of The Skyflowers Project seems fitting, so 2027 will be the ultimate deadline.

In the meantime, I have been working on other things.

Accessories & Custom-Made Packaging Boxes

While the book is in development, I have been working of a few side-projects. Things that pave the way for the book release. Products and services that directly tie-into the book. The most notable was the release of the “Classroom Set” earlier this year. A modular, color-coded set of flower remedies in custom 3d printed boxes I designed especially for classrooms, workshops and presentations.

More recently, to mark the 28th anniversary of the Skyflowers Project, I created a new line of packaging boxes called Flower Box. The concept behind Flower Box is simple. It’s a box that looks like a flower and is designed to be used in floral artwork and indoor plant-scapes to pretty up a clinic room. The box serves several purposes. Storage for flower remedies and essential oils. But also to act as a reminder of the plants inside the bottles. This is a key feature that ties into the central thesis of the Clinical Flower Therapy book.

That of “Know thy plants. Know thy nature. Know thyself”. An elaboration on the Greek axiom that was adopted by Edward Bach as his central motif and most important quote he wanted to be known by. Mine is a little longer but it serves the purpose of education and explaining Bach’s rationale.

But I digress. I was talking about my pretty new box designs – Flower Box.

Flower Box is not just a product. It’s a whole, stand-alone project that I plan to further develop I am excited about this one. It’s creative, colorful and fun. I actually have plans to flesh the concept into a whole new line of “giftware and floral services”. A whole new arm of the Skyflowers Project.

In case you haven’t read the article I hinted at earlier with links, Flower box is a modular storage box that has expansion kits you can snap into the base unit to make it look like a different flower. At launch, I released two “petal packs” alongside the main storage unit – the flower bud.

Flower Box is available now by itself, bundled with petal packs or as an option when buying one of my pro sets. So now you have 4 different packaging options – Pro Box. Compact Box. Classroom Box and now, Flower Box. All of which are available in a wide range of colors to suit your mood, room or business brand.

Box Sets

Okay, we’ve talked about 3d printed accessories, now let’s talk about the new line of box sets that’s rolling out.

I’ve always offered multiple sets, but many of those have come and gone as the project developed. In fact, my first ever box set that I sold to a friend of mine was an early prototype and all the names were in botanical latin! Things have come a long way in the past nearly three decades.

In the lead up to the release of Clinical Flower Therapy, I’ve decided to overhaul our entire line-up of box sets. Everything is being revised, updated with new remedies and streamlined as we speak. Work on “Set 1 for General Practice & Kinesiology” is complete. With sets 2 and 3 being released soon. And sets 4 and 5 ready in a month or two.

To decided to go back to the drawing board and design a range of flower remedy kits for specific modalities. As there are nearly 200 research remedies in the trials, with about 150 of these already released, such a large list of remedies to choose from meant to could create some very different toolkits.

For example, here are the first 5 sets that are coming. Some have been around for awhile but have been updated with new release remedies. While others haven’t been released before.

  1. Set 1 for General Practice & Kinesiology. A broad-scope, diagnostic set of remedies for common issues. Made from our most popular remedies.
  2. Set 2 for Personal Development. A set designed for “talk-based therapies” such as counselling or life coaching. Made from our productivity-focused remedies. This one comes in two variants – the main toolkit. And a special edition comprised of the best flower remedies that match the spiritual themes of 2026. More on this later in Spring as it’s in active development and will be released in October ( to insiders ) and November to retail customers.
  3. Set 3 for Classrooms. A selection of beginner-friendly flower remedies presented in a modular box that students can pull apart and use for leaning games. Designed to teach the basics of Clinical Flower Therapy by using color-coded packaging.
  4. Set 4 for Clinical Flower Therapy.. This set of remedies is for professional flower therapy. Remedies are grouped by their scientific, botanical classifications. A set for collectors of the Skyflowers and plant enthusiasts.
  5. Set 5 for Emotional First Aid & Crisis Management. This is a set of ‘hard-core’ flower remedies that you would use in frontline health care such as social work, hospitals or prisons. This your professional-grade toolkit for emergencies.

Each set is really a series of five boxes you can collect. If you’re a kinesiologist, for example, you can purchase a set of 25 remedies ( Box A ) and later on if you want to expand your toolkit, you can choose Box B from the same series. This helps avoid an overlap of content.

Effectively, the same remedies from the list of 200 appear in each series. But they are prioritized differently. Depending on your workflow and clinical style. If you’re a student or doing diagnostic work, then Set 1 is my recommendation. If you already have a set of remedies and need some extras to back up your work, then go tor the “fail-safe” remedies in Set 5.

These 5 groupings cover most therapies. I plan to offer smaller kits of 5 for very specific work, like the Pineapple Stress-Testing Kit that’s already available. Custom sets are also available to anyone who needs me to make up a specific toolkit to match their workshop material. These are easy enough to create but I are only available to project supporters for the time being while I work on other things.

USA Customers

This is something of a sad announcement but I have to make it. Due to the upheavals caused by the tariffs in the United States, I won’t be selling product to US customers for the foreseeable future. Pricing on postage has spiked to a point that even Australia Post has suspended services. While there would be courier options, the cost would be prohibitive for customers.

I foresee that this storm will pass over ( 4 years and counting down ) and service will be restored. In the meanwhile, I am thinking about offering a price reduction on face-to-face video calls to US customers who need a pep talk. Leave it with me, I have to think on this. But expect an update soon given the state of current affairs in the world.

What’s Next for 2025?

As this rather long blog post comes to a close, I’d like to talk about the roadmap for late 2026. You’ve been a great audience to have made it this far so to help you make it to the finish line after an exhausting strain, I will present you with a dot point list of spoilers. And cheeky hints.

  • Flower Box expansion kits. Currently working on a ‘Cabbage” petal pack with plans to release a “Daffodil” set ( depending on design difficulty ) later this Spring. There are also plans for a special series of “cascading flowers and leaves” to be released before Christmas.
  • A Guide to Selecting Flower Remedies for Personal & Professional Use is coming in various formats. A simple instruction page as well as a comprehensive eBook. I have plans to release other eBooks also which are a digest-version of different chapters from the main, Clinical Flower Therapy book.
  • Modailty-themed Box Sets. As previously mentioned.

The major release in the next 3 months is he limited edition set, Personal Development & Training Program for 2026 which is is coming in October for insiders and November for retail customers. –

  • The set contains 25 flower remedies – 12 representing each month of the year and are tied to a tailor-made program and “230 day challenges” for 2026, there are another set of 10 remedies that you can customize depending on your goals and focus for 2026 and the final 3 remedies are the flower of the year for 2026, flower of the year for 2025 and the 2026 emergency blend, respectively.
  • In short, this is a major release and will come with a tailor-made training program to guide you through the issues and opportunities of 2026.

Thank-You

That’s a wrap for the 28th anniversary update and roadmap for Spring, 2025. A Spring season that has come early in Australia and has already provided enough sunshine to get out and do some gardening while my 3d printers are working overtime to produce boxes to sell.

I love Spring.

Before I go I would like to say thank-you to my customers and people who actively promote my work. There is a long list of people I could mention who have supported the research project over the years. Special thanks to Denise Robinson of “By the Bay Kinesiology” here in Melbourne. Special thanks to Chris Kinross and the gang who came to weekly flower class in the early days.

As a self-funded research project, every sale goes into developing Clinical Flower Therapy and shaping the future of plant-medicine. I can’t wait to release the book and show you what I have been working on for nearly 30 years and what you have been supporting. Thank you all.

I guess that wraps it up. Bye for now. I’m off for a nice cup of herbal tea I harvested from the garden and putting my dinner on the stove.
