Tillandsia aeranthos – Large Form
I originally bought this plant in 1989-90 when I was working at Collectors Corner at Gardenworld. It was sold under the name of Tillandsia bergeri but clearly displays the flower color of Tillandsia aeranthos. Plants are about 3x the size of Tillandsia aeranthos. Photo is deceptive, the flower is actually much more purple than the one shown. Plants are large and chunky.
Live air plant. Large form of Tillandsia aeranthos. Easy to grow. Grows into a giant ball and flowers every year, without fail.
